Had a message from Bear yesterday (Sun 19th Aug) to say he's been in the middle of the Bolivian Amazon & as you can image out of touch with the outside world. He's just arrived in a town with internet and found out about the devastating earthquakes in Peru. Fortunately he (& George) had been and already left the affected area(s). Although Nazca was pretty close apparently. So this is just a quick note to say he's OK and everything's cool.

Hi ya Bear, So pleased that you had left Peru when the earthquake occurred, we did check it, glad that you are still O.K. By the way if you are home for Christmas we will be having "Guinea Pigs" instead of Turkey this year so let me know what they taste like when you have some, enjoy the Amazon and get some more photographs on when yer can, All the Best Janet, Lyn and Jordan

Watch them Quakes youth, dont step on the cracks. Stunning Photos BTW, especially the Monkey shot from the Nazca Lines, looks like Ian Brown on the beach !
